The comprehensive sewage treatment center in Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone is estimated to complete construction on Sept 30 and is expected to enter trial operation by the end of the year. It will mark a big boost for local industrial development.

Divided into two phases, the sanitation project covers a total area of 240 mu (16 hectares) and is estimated to dispose of 240 kilotons of waste water per day. And its first phase with an investment of 500 million yuan ($78.08 million) is projected to deal with 100 kilotons daily.
